Sandra Monfort, the Valencian artist member of the famous trio Marala, presents her EP ‘La Mona de Nit’ at the beginning of 2025, a work that is an extension of the universe of her previous album ‘La Mona’ (Hidden Track Records, 2023).

With ‘La Mona’, an album that exudes feminine strength and a well-awakened conscience, she wins the Carles Santos 2023 awards for Best Album of the Year, Best Song of the Year for “Moreneta” and Best Pop Album. The Enderrock critics also award her the award for Best Folk Album and critics call her one of the most complete artists on the scene.

In this last album, Sandra Monfort already accompanied us towards the “desmelene” and expansion with pasodobles, bachatas and boleros that make us dance but at the same time touch our hearts. With ‘La Mona de Nit’, she wants to show us her teeth. It is the most canine expression of the artist, when the sun is already setting and the females are “braceoing” towards the club.
